Changes to Audiology Services – Wansbeck General Hospital

From Tuesday 1 May there will no longer be an Audiology Service at Wansbeck Hospital. The repair service will be relocated to either Newcastle Hospitals @ Cramlington Manor Walks or The Mount in Morpeth. This service will be a booked appointment system. Battery replacements will still be available on a drop-in basis at Wansbeck Hospital.

How can I make an appointment?

To book an appointment, you can call: 0191 223 1043 (press option 2) or you can email: tnu-tr.audiology@nhs.net.

Why is the service changing?

The trust says it wants to make sure it can provide the best service and quality of care. To improve your experience of the hearing aid repairs service, the service has been changed to appointment only. By giving you a set time for your appointment, you can arrive at a
time suitable for you, without having to wait for an audiologist to become available.

Where is the service available?

The service will be available at Cramlington Manor Walks and the Mount in Morpeth.

Cramlington:

Manor Walks, South Mall, Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure, Cramlington NE23 6UL

Manor Walk Shopping & Leisure can be easily accessed by bus (Arriva & GoNorth East) and train (Northern Rail).
