A Role for Everyone

Volunteer Officer Emma Grimwood

As a volunteer you may get the chance to represent Healthwatch Northumberland at events and meetings, help us with distribution and promotion across this vast county of ours, or even help with research and analysis on specific issues if that’s where your skills lie. You may even be asked to go undercover as a ‘mystery shopper’ at a healthcare service near you! Please contact Emma Grimwood, Volunteer Coordinator if you would like to get involved: 03332 408468.

We would love to hear from you if you have a story to tell regarding healthcare services you’ve experienced in the last 12 months, which we could use as a case study. This might be used in reports to health and social care providers, on our website and social media and maybe even in local news publications.

“Our aim is to put volunteers at the heart of what we do”

Our volunteers help us reach people across Northumberland to listen to their experiences of health and social care services in the county.

Whether you want to gain valuable work experience, help improve care in your community or learn new skills, there are lots of ways you can join us to make a real difference.

Please get in touch if you would like to get involved; you could make a real contribution to improving services for people in Northumberland. You can give me a call on: 03332 408468 for an information pack or email me:
