Thank you to everyone who came along to our online event with Andrew Poinen from Qwell on Friday 11 November.

Andrew gave an overview of Qwell, the online service available for adults aged 18 and over in Northumberland which provides free, safe and anonymous mental health and wellbeing support. He explained how the platform works, how to access it and he answered questions at the end.

If you didn’t get the chance to join the session you can watch the recording of the presentation below.

Questions and answers from the session

Is the service available in North Tyneside?

No unfortunately Qwell is not commissioned for North Tyneside at this time.

How do the counsellors link in with local services around poverty and need?

Qwell has a resource hub which has local organisations included on this. Local food banks have been suggested and these can be added on too.

What is the average age range accessing Qwell, do you have stats on this?

Permission from the commissioners is required to pass this information on.
