The annual Winter Warmer events from Ageing Well in Northumberland provide information on how to stay safe and well this winter, with organisations present from your local community.  The events are free and friendly – come along for a cuppa and a chat.

These roadshows from  In It Together Parent Carer Forum and Northumberland County Council are for families of children and young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) in Northumberland and the professionals who work with them.

Each event will include:

  • Information stalls representing a wide range of services and organisations,.
  • Workshops on the Graduated Approach for children and young people with SEND

 

Booking is not required. Just come along when you can between 10am and 4pm.

Rainbow Games

This event is hosted by Age UK Northumberland in support of Northumberland Pride. There will be games, drinks and nibbles and lots of fun to be had. Tickets are just £2.00 each and can be bought in advance or on the door. Everyone is welcome!

Active Young Carers Multi-Sport Launch

Do you provide help or support for a family member of friend? If you are young carer between the ages of 11 and 17 years, you are invited to help Carers Northumberland to celebrate the launch of this new activity in Ashington. There will be a variety of different sports on offer including dodgeball, basketball and cricket.
