David Thompson on the integrated care strategy
Earlier this year our Chair and North East and North Cumbria Healthwatch Network representative on the Integrated Care Board, David Thompson, was asked to share his views on the recently developed integrated care strategy. He was asked why he feels it is important to have a strategy and what he thinks will be the challenges and opportunities within the strategy.
David was able to paint a realistic picture of the current landscape, and what Healthwatch in our region is doing to ensure the public and patient voice is being heard at all levels of the Integrated Care Board.
