Tyneside and Northumberland Mind can offer support if you have been affected by the recent death of a family member, friend or colleague by suicide, murder or tragic accident. The Northumberland Bereavement Support Service is available to any adult living in Northumberland.

Tynedale Hospice at Home offers free and confidential pre and post bereavement support for anyone living in Tynedale, Ponteland and West Northumberland, whether they have been affected by hospice care or not. Support is available for both adults and children.

Age UK Northumberland’s bereavement support service can provide:
- Structured counselling via telephone, face-to-face, or video
- Self-help information
- Emotional support groups
- Mindfulness sessions
- Practical advice and signposting

HospiceCare North Northumberland offers free bereavement support service in Alnwick and Berwick, either one-to-one or in a group. You can self-refer or be referred by a health professional.

HospiceCare North Northumberland also runs free Bereavement Cafés at its Wellbeing Centres in Alnwick and Berwick.

Cygnus Support
Cygnus Support offers counselling to those who are experiencing a decline in their mental health due to a bereavement.
