Age UK Northumberland
Age UK Northumberland runs a weekly Bereavement Friendship Group for anyone over 50 who would like to meet other people going through similar experiences. The group runs every Wednesday, 10am to 12pm, at Haydon Bridge Community Centre, Ratcliffe Road, NE47 6ET.
There is also a Bereavement Support Service which offers counselling, self-help information, mindfulness sessions and signposting to further support.

Northumberland Bereavement Support Service
Tyneside and Northumberland Mind can offer support if you have been affected by the recent death of a family member, friend or colleague by suicide, murder or tragic accident. The Northumberland Bereavement Support Service is available to any adult living in Northumberland.

Free bereavement support service in Alnwick and Berwick, either one-to-one or in a group. You can self-refer or be referred by a health professional.

Cygnus Support
Cygnus Support offers counselling to those who are experiencing a decline in their mental health due to a bereavement.
They run Bereavement Cafes in partnership with Bright Red in Cramlington (Cramlington Town Council Offices) or Bedlington (Bedlington Community Centre).
There is also a Bereavement Group at Hirst Park in Ashington on the first Tuesday of every month, 2.45pm to 4pm. Just drop in or call 07743 571 333 for more information.
