Monthly Drop-in – Berwick Voluntary Forum
Each month we’ll be holding drop-in sessions, in all five local council areas of the county. These new drop-in sessions are a chance for residents to tell us about their experiences of NHS and social care services and use our Signposting and Information Service. Just call in or if you’d prefer to make a specific appointment for one of the sessions, please get in touch.

Healthwatch Northumberland is getting back on the road this summer and we are looking forward to safely getting back out in the community! Come and talk to us about your experience of NHS and social care services and pick up a goody bag.
The Healthwatch Northumberland Annual Survey 2020-21 is running from Monday 21 June to Friday 23 July this year. It is your opportunity to let us know what went well and what could be improved and together we can help make care better for everyone in Northumberland.
This event will take place at Berwick Market.

Audiology Cinic drop-in Berwick – Union Brae
As part of our work to find out people’s experiences of using audiology services, we will be at the audiology clinic in Berwick talking to those using the services. We will be asking people with hearing loss a few questions to find out what is working well for them and what could be improved.

Berwick Recovery Walk
Organised by Northumberland Recovery Partnership, all friends and supporters of recovery are welcome to join in this walk around Berwick.
Meet at 10.00am at Wallace Green for tea, coffee and health questionnaires. The walk to the lighthouse and back will begin at 11.00am. A healthy lunch will be served at Wallace Green followed by meditation. A health trainer will be available for blood pressure readings, weight & nutritional advice in the afternoon.

Carers Rights Day 2018
Are you a carer? Do you know your rights?
Come along to this Carers Rights Day event which this year has the theme ‘Caring for your Future’.
There will be lots of information and advice on:
Carers Rights, Paying for Care, Welfare Rights, Employment, Local Carer Support and much more.
Stall holders include: Healthwatch Northumberland, Welfare Rights Unit, Adult Services, Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Citizens Advice Bureau, Hospice Care North Northumberland, Bridge Project, Northumberland Cancer Awareness, NTW mental Health services, Escape Family Support.
Try a relaxing therapy or a craft and have a cuppa with a Key Worker.
Berwick Library Drop-In
We will be at Berwick Library on Wednesday 10 October 1.00pm to 4.00pm, listening to local people about their experiences of health and social care services, as part of Northumberland Libraries health and wellbeing week.
Come and say hello to the team and tell us what you think of services in your area.
Public Drop-in Session for Berwick Hospital Plans
“Ahead of the session we’d like to reassure people that the funding for the new hospital is secure as is the funding for the new leisure centre. We look forward to meeting people on the day.”
We will be there to listen to people’s reactions to what they see and hear on the day.
